DGA Glass Syringe are used to take samples of transformer oil from field to laboratory. Transformer oil cools the transformer and provides electrical insulation. When this oil is subjected to high thermal and electrical stresses, it decomposes and gases are generated.
Different gases are generated from different types of faults, and the chemical analysis of these gases (Dissolved Gas Analysis) provides diagnostic information about the condition of the transformer.
DGA Syringe are made of borosilicate heat resistant glass processed & annealed under controlled conditions.
